I don't know about you but the main reason I go out to the movies is so I can have a quick break from my reality. So upon choosing what film to watch, I had to figure out what mood I was in. I decided to watch something with decent plot, action and mindless entertainment. And that's when I saw the movie times for 'Contraband.'

You can't go wrong with a movie with Mark Wahlberg. The majority of his films have everything I was looking for...action and butt kicking...and that's exactly what I got from the movie.

The plot surprised me even though it was somewhat predictable, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It was great to see Kate Beckinsale and Ben Foster bringing their usual talent to their characters. Giovanni Ribisi did an excellent job of creating a bad guy that is terrifying yet a gutless coward, not to mention that voice was just eerie.

If you want to be entertained at the movies, 'Contraband' will do the trick.
